Hops and thistle

I'm in love with this collection! Hops and thistle. Blue thistle/ sea holly and blue globe thistle, with splashes of seeded eucalyptus and pops of color with dried statice and larkspur. Of course balanced with freshly dried hops. Love!

I made these centerpieces for a ladies luncheon in NYC. They were designed to be plunked into very cool mugs upon arrival.

Bottle cap bouts!

Aren't these super cool?! Boutonnieres with hops and Fat Tire bottle caps and just enough pink to make the bride a happy camper.

Prom!

I heard from Jasmine months before her prom. She was on top of her style; she already had her dress and her date and I could tell her flowers were a very important note. As it should be. :) Isn't that dress stunning?! Aren't they adorable?! Thank you Jasmine and Saad for choosing me for your special prom flowers! And thank you for sharing your beautiful pictures!

Key Largo, Florida

When I was addressing this package I wanted to shrink down and hop in the box... Hilton, Key Largo, Florida. Yes please! SO, so gorgeous! Here are a few bouquet and bout shots I snapped. I heard back from the very happy bride and I'm SUPER excited to share her pics when I have them. But for now...

My version of a silk bouquet

Some of these flowers are handmade, and all of them have hand painted accents to give them a real look. I've worked mostly with fresh flowers and plants, rarely crossing into the 'silk' world of floral design. BUT, I design for my clients, and this was a request from a wonderful bride who would be traveling internationally. Here are a few shots I took... Black centered anemones, peonies, garden roses, ranuculous, faux succulents and air plants and fern shoots and dried billy balls.

Eleuthera

I'm currently working on a collection for a wedding in Eleuthera. Prior to being contacted by Heather, my visionary bride, I wasn't familiar with the beautiful little island. Today I ran across Martha's blog about her visit there. I'll definitely show pictures when I have them. This time I'm working with all materials that will travel internationally with ease. Here's Martha's blog...

Lover.ly- a great find!

I just ran across this resource for wedding planning and thought I'd share. I love to read Etsy features, and the creator of this website was a featured author of an interesting post I happened on this morning. All planning and inspirational resources are valuable, especially the really good ones. Here's a shout out for Lover.ly...

Melissa and Michael

Check out this color palette! I LOVE! Fuchsia garden roses, shades from blue to purple hydrangea, pink sweet William, blue thistle (sea holly), early green sedum, seeded eucalyptus, pink dendrobium orchids, pink freesia, splashes of bluish purple delphinium and three shades of purple stock. The white pops in the bridal bouquet are also garden roses. I'm so happy with how it all came together! I met Michael and Melissa through an introduction from their fabulous coordinator, Ashley Lacer of Stargazer Weddings; whom I adore and have a ton of professional respect for. She keeps everything running smoothly and makes it look easy. The wedding was at the Rogue hop yard in Independence, Oregon. Such a cool place! Very fitting for this fun loving couple. You can tell so much by their wedding photos. They've been together for over 10 years and were high school sweethearts. Awe.. ;) They were so much fun to work with, and so happy and CLEARLY in love beyond words on their wedding day. Thank you Michael and Melissa! It was my pleasure to carry out your incredible vision. You two are a beautiful inspiration!

Thank you to 5th and 59th Photography for these stunning photos! True genius!

Angela and Tim

Angela is one of my beautiful Rinella cousins. She's in so many of my happy childhood memories. We're blessed to have the support of our big Italian family, and our time together has always been filled with belly laughs, endearing love and lots and lots of pasta! I love you Angela! Thank you for trusting your flowers to me! I love you too Tim, for the wonderful man you are for my sweet, beautiful cousin.

These pieces were so much fun to create! Angela told me she wanted daisies, daisies, daisies and blue. So here you go... I can't get enough of deep blue hydrangea, so that was a natural choice. I also used sea holly and blue delphinium to add some texture and little pops of whimsy. This was such a beautiful and fun wedding. Thank you to Vivid Life Images for these incredible photos!

Corina and Ethan

Corina and Ethan have a special place in my heart. Ethan and my husband are in our church's worship band together. According to my husband, Ethan is one of the best drummers on the planet! :) When Corina and Ethan announced their engagement, the hubs dropped me a shameless plug. I'm so glad he did! I was honored to carry out this gorgeous vision! Their colors were aubergine and ivory, and Corina was very inspired by deep purple ornamental artichokes. I put 3 in her bouquet and a little tiny one in her father's boutonniere. Super cool! The collection also has chocolate cosmos, chocolate calla lilies, bells of Ireland, lisianthus, seeded eucalyptus, purple limonium, dendrobium orchids and a few gardenia reserved for the bridal bouquet. Thank you to Becerra Photography for these gorgeous photos! Thank you Corina and Ethan for trusting your beautiful vision to me!
